Social-Science Lab

The Social Science “Heritage” Lab is an extremely hip and happening place. A beautiful and sunlit room, it has shelves filled with clay models of various landforms, miniatures, bronze historical figurines and lots of wall-mounted models and maps – all of which are used extensively by both students and teachers. Projects and role play by students are presented here in our Lab. The huge collection of CD’s from National Geographic and Discovery Channel along with many illustrated reference books, all help to make this lab a veritable treasure trove.

Computer Lab:

Technology advancement has affected every sphere of life, especially education. This has changed our perception of what a school should provide for its students. In times of booming technology, the computer labs at MGWS, BSR provide the appropriate platform for the students to be future technocrats. The computer labs are used not just to hone the skills of computer geeks but also to provide exposure to the novices.

With our lab, which caters to the needs of senior, middle, junior and nursery sections, the lab also provides facilities to the students to explore the world through the internet. Our lab has 30 computers and a server. Our computer lab is the complete amalgamation of visual entertainment and learning. In the middle and sr. wing, students are taught concepts of flash, HTML, VB, MS Office, C and C++ at various levels which prepare them to face the tough challenges of the computer world later on. It is in these labs that the teachers also get the facilities to learn while they work on the computers in their separate sections in the lab. Walk-in any time of the day, you’ll always find a few teachers and students at work in these labs.

Science Lab:

The gift of science has added greatly to the dignity and sublimity of human civilization and science is often acclaimed as an angel of creative ideas. It is to hone these creative ideas that MGWS has excellent Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories; and it is here that students learn to bring their experiments out of these labs to their daily lives.

Physics Lab: 

It is an ultra-modern lab fully equipped with the latest apparatus to provide the much-needed facilities to the students from classes I – XII. The senior wing lab caters to the requirement of students from classes VI-XII with 50 students at a time. It also includes a dark room for experiments on light. Besides practical, the lab is also used for activities of the Astronomy Club.

Chemistry Lab: 

The Chemistry Lab in MGWS, BSR is well equipped with all modern apparatus and chemicals required up to class XII. With the seating capacity of about 50 students in this well-ventilated hall, the Lab also prides itself on having a balance room for volumetric analysis. Students are guided by qualified teachers to complete their projects and experiments.

Biology Lab: 

The spacious, well ventilated Biology Lab caters to the requirement of senior students. Keeping the latest syllabus in mind the models, specimens, charts, chemicals etc. have been well planned. Besides, the lab is self-sufficient with other necessary assets. The well qualified teachers and lab assistants are yet another asset for the lab.
